If you are taking any prescription medication it is advisable to check with your GP or healthcare provider before taking a multivitamin. Vitamins and minerals come in different forms with varying degrees of bioavailability. Bioavailability refers to how much of a substance your body is able to absorb once you have taken a supplement.
